Last year, I found myself unexpectedly rushed to the hospital with a seizure, high fever and other alarming symptoms. Despite the best efforts of the doctors, my temperature remained dangerously high and blood tests revealed that I was suffering from sepsis and a kidney infection. To make matters worse, I also contracted an MRSA-like disease during my hospital stay.
